Decorating Your Home For Thanksgiving

187170769Thanksgiving is a joyous time to count all of your blessings from the past year. This past year has shown me many changes (some good and some bad), but I know I still have many things to be thankful for. One of the ways I like to remind myself of all I have to be thankful for is to bring the beauty I see outdoors inside.

There are many ways to easily and affordably decorate your home for the harvest season. Taking aspects from nature, family and all things American you can feel thankful for living it such a wonderful country. The way you decorate is completely up to you. There are many great decorations that you can purchase which include flowers and ornaments. Local dollar stores are a great place to find festive napkins, themed ornaments and other decorations at a low price. I usually purchase a few items to help make my thanksgiving decorating look pulled together, including a tablecloth, a few place-mats and this year a new welcome rug for the front door from Amazon.

Here are some easy tips to get your home ready for the season whether it is for a fancy thanksgiving feast or a simple time reflecting on the past year.
